Priority #1: Cost of Living
My top priority will be bringing down the cost of living.

My top priority will be bringing down the cost of living. Working families are getting crushed by out of control costs, and the voice of working people must be heard in Washington. I want to immediately bring down the cost of gas, groceries, and health care.

Step one is bringing down the cost of gas by ending the war in Iran. Max Miller has voted six times to continue the war, and I would be a vote to end it. When gas prices are high, everything we do is more expensive – from driving to work to taking our kids to their game. And as a former truck driver I know all too well that when gas and diesel prices go up, they raise the price of everything that moves on a truck, from groceries to construction supplies.

Second, I want to end the blanket tariffs that have made everything we buy more expensive. I support targeted tariffs to protect American workers, but the chaotic, reckless blanket tariffs are way too broad and end up driving prices on food, housing, and construction. Max Miller has voted to protect the tariffs multiple times, and I would be a vote to end them. That will help bring down groceries and other goods.

Third, I will fight to bring down the cost of health care. By voting for the so-called ‘Big Beautiful Bill,’ Max Miller voted for the biggest health care cut in American history, and he allowed the Affordable Care Act tax credits to expire. That is one reason why Ohio has seen double-digit health care premium increases for two years in a row. I know what it is like to struggle to afford insurance, and I support bringing back that health care funding to bring down premium prices and save rural hospitals.

While we bring down costs, we must raise wages and improve benefits. I support raising the minimum wage and strengthening unions, which will allow workers to bargain for better wages and benefits. I will sign on to the PRO Act to strengthen unions to drive up wages and benefits for everyone, whether they are in a union or not.
